True teachers, masters and gurus seem to have one thing in common-they usually don’t volunteer their knowledge or give advise without being asked for it. They’re wise that way because they know that until their counsel is sought, little of what they say matters to the receiver. You could say that they are pretty much like the subscribe button on a website. “Click me and I may send.”
Unsolicited advise is very seldom appreciated even among friends and families and much less in troubled teams or between colleagues or strangers.
The CORE message: Don’t preach when the student is not ready.
